Trixie and I were conniving all week long to plan the whole thing. I particularly asked her because she’s really good when it comes to leg work like this (even when pregnant). Which lead us to think that when it comes to planning an event that will involve lots of people, it’s better to minimize the number of brains planning to two or three (80% of our plans usually end up to nothing. As we’ve always said, the farthest thing we got when it comes to planning a trip is planning). Anyway, back to my story, it was one great night. We went out for a dinner to this place called Blue Rock, a beachfront restaurant in Barretto, Olongapo. It’s one of my favorite places to hang out. The ambience is really good since you’ll be eating right in front of the beach, lots of people around, and their dishes are great. They serve local and foreign dishes and their serving is really huge.
And of course, it won’t be us if we won’t have those after-dinner-ridiculously-high-priced-coffees. We went to our usual coffee place and I was able to see that hot acoustic chic performs again. She’s not that hot now, though. And as a tradition, Joy went up to the stage and sang a few songs. Caffeine, music and talk – it doesn’t get better than that.
Its great catching up with everyone back there. Just like the old days. Except back then we’d do a lot more frequent than now. So I have a great idea, let’s have a Christmas party! It’d be great since most of us will be there this Christmas holiday. What do you think?
Note: Apol & Kiko also suggested the same thing. So I bet everyone is itching for a party, it’s gonna be legen.. wait for it… (let’s just wait for the party)
