I just finished one of Bob Ong’s books, ABNKKBSNPLAKO?! (“Hey, I can read?!” ). It’s a humurous essay of his struggles of in schools. I’ve already finished 2 of his books, “Alamat ng Gubat” and “Ang Paboritong Libro ni Hudas”.
I’d like to share an excerpt from the book (translated):
“I’ve learned that life is not an exam that has a passing rate. Its not a multiple choice, identification, true or false, enumeration or fill-in-the-blanks that you can answer, rather it’s an essay that you write everyday. It will not be judged whether if it’s right or wrong but rather if what was written has meaning or not. Erasures are allowed.“
